The Death of Diana, Princess of Wales
On August 31, 1997, Princess Diana experienced a fatal car crash in Paris. However, after official inquiries were conducted by both the British and French governments concluding that her death was due to the accident itself, speculation began to circulate that she might have been killed as part of a larger criminal conspiracy.
Many people contest the official account of events surrounding Diana’s death, including The Daily Express and Mohamed Al-Fayed, whose son Dodi was with her when she died. Mr. Al-Fayed believes that Diana (who he alleges was pregnant with Dodi’s child) was killed because the thought of his non-Christian son marrying into the British Royal Family would not be permitted. Although there is no evidence to support this conspiracy theory, many people still believe it to be true.
