The Bizarre Georgia Guidestones
The Georgia Guidestones, also known as the American Stonehenge, was a granite monument in Elbert County, Georgia, that stood from 1980 until July 6, 2022, when it was destroyed in a bombing and taken down that day. The stone slabs measured more than 19 feet tall and weighed almost 107,840 kilograms.
The initially uncontroversial monument became the focus of numerous conspiracy theories due to the unusual “commandments” etched on them, including what some have described as a request to cull people. While some believe the stone was carved for future generations in the aftermath of a cataclysmic event, such as a nuclear holocaust, others feel it is just demonic and actively called for its destruction.
