Don’t Assume
It doesn’t matter how varied and eclectic a city is; there will always be those who stereotype others. This bar employee was overheard telling someone of different ethnicity and background from him in a rather condescending tone, which was cringe-worthy. He believed this customer came from another nation, so he felt the need to single him out.

The bartender assumed this guest, who was Indian, didn’t grasp American tipping customs. You know what happens when someone makes an error in judgment! We don’t need to explain it any further. The diner defended himself by stating that he was from Boston, not a different nation. We’re not sure what planet the bartender was living on, but we’re sure that most of NYC wouldn’t want to claim him.
