An Economical Decision
Eating out used to be a religious ceremony before you moved in with your spouse. It’s not because of the food itself that this is sacred, but instead because you go on dates frequently. All you have to do is cook at home when you move in. You might even enjoy preparing the food and sharing some love while eating it. However, this practice might strain your finances, especially if you maintain up with the best without earning much.
However, there is always a catch. If you’re not the cooking type and your spouse isn’t a gourmet, you’re right back where you started. We can only suppose that this guy was fortunate enough to meet someone who enjoys cooking (and possibly saves money). He doesn’t have to spend money on lunch every day now, and he may savor homemade meals.
