In most Western cultures, young adults are expected to leave their family home and start living independently. However, as the map below demonstrates, this isn’t always the case in other parts of the world.
To many North Americans, this might sound odd, but in plenty of European countries, it is quite regular for adults to still reside with their parents even after they turn 30. This makes sense for young adults since they can save money on living expenses by doing so.
