Dinner is served
You may have observed that your mother or father cooks all of your meals with love, but the worst response they might receive to the simple question, “what do you want for dinner,” is “I don’t know.” They go through the trouble of cooking so that we can let them know what we desire. We frequently express dissatisfaction if they prepare what they believe is best.
While their stock response to “I don’t know” is usually “we’re closed,” this mother was tired of her children’s pre-packaged, vague replies and decided to serve them a big, juicy plate of “I don’t know.” We don’t know about you, but we think this mother deserves a medal for finally defending her position.
