It Can’t Go On Forever
Ah, another sign of recognizing the minor aggravations we all face at the start of each new year. It was previously all about people’s jokes before New Year’s Eve (listed above). This sign is when it’s acceptable to refrain from saying “Happy New Year” to others. The expression might occasionally go on for a while.
When do we quit? Do we get one day and then call it a wrap by the second of January? Or are there several days available? A week is undoubtedly far too long… We’ll have to discuss when to stop saying “Happy New Year” because everyone appears to be aware that we say it for way too long after the actual New Year.
