Personal Space
Koreans are not very demonstrative. As previously said, we’ve spoken about how hugs are only appropriate for close friends and family. Close companions can hold hands, but public kissing is prohibited. However, certain types of physical contact are acceptable in South Korea that would be unusual to us elsewhere.
In the United States and other Western countries, it is normal for small children to hold hands. Female friends in South Korea, on the other hand, frequently walk hand-in-hand. In most cases, youngsters will not be allowed to hold their pals’ hands past a certain age in the West. Male friends in South Korea are also more physically affectionate toward one another than male buddies in the West.
