Sharing is Caring
When playing with your toys as a youngster, you were probably instructed to share. However, in the United States, your food is yours, and though many individuals will try to persuade you to share, you are not obligated to do so.
On the other hand, sharing is a key element of Korean culture. If you offer a snack to others, expect to share it or appear selfish and have little or no Jeong. Sharing in South Korea is linked to a concept known as Jung, which represents sentiments such as love, warmth, enthusiasm, and human nature in society.
