We don’t know about you, but we’re obsessed with the Jimmy Fallon hashtags challenge. Every week, the talk show host comes up with new challenges for his fans on Twitter, and he always hits the spot. To celebrate Thanksgiving, a family holiday, he started the #MyFamilyIsWeird hashtag on Twitter, and the results are somewhere between amusing and embarrassing. From crazy aunts to family quirks, we get an inside look into families across America that make our own families seem a little less strange. By the end, if you can outdo some of these stories, we better see your tweet next time – or share them in the comments!
#1: It’s Not Always a Weird Uncle
Everyone talks about that one weird uncle who says funny things when he comes to visit, but we can’t forget about the eccentric aunts. I’m sure she’s just trying to be funny, but this would leave me speechless the first dozen times or so, especially if I were younger! Thankfully, she sounds kind of cool.
Still, this is one of those odd comments that has to get a raised eyebrow over dinner. The premise isn’t impossible, and twins would be a good cover if the aunt were pregnant at the same time. All I’m saying is sometimes the crazy stuff really is true… or maybe she has dementia. Or a questionable sense of humor. Who knows.
