New Beginnings
Regrettably, the chasm that had grown between Armstrong and Janet proved unbridgeable, leading to their separation in 1990. Four years later, their nearly four-decade-long marriage officially came to an end. In the same year, a glimmer of happiness emerged as Armstrong embarked on a new journey, exchanging vows with Carol Knight.
