This has to be a new level of “nice guys.” This guy claims that he’s been holding the door for nearly two hours and only received one “thank you” for his kind gesture. Sure, people should thank others more often for going out of their way to open doors, but c’mon! Since when does holding a door open for someone mean scoring a date with them?

Maybe nobody wanted to give you a second glance because they thought you were a professional door opener or greeter. There’s nothing wrong with that, except when they think they’re entitled to get your phone number because they’re doing their job.
