Egglers
Like any other type of market vendors, eggless would sell fresh eggs in markets or streets around the country. Here’s something you probably didn’t know: egg cartons were introduced in 1911, an invention that allowed egglers to sell eggs in batches. However, at a certain point, eggs weren’t enough, and the egglers started selling other poultry and foods.
While today you might not find egglers in the different markets, you can see their evolution. Essentially, any peddler at the market that sells food products is an eggler of sorts. There was nothing very eggciting about that job, and compared to other professions on the list, this one seems perfectly normal (aside from the funny name).
