There was always something special about having a physical textbook sitting in front of you while tackling the mounds of homework handed out each school day. It was a copy created by educated people with a purpose: educating our youth. Now, these books are all digitalized, making kids rely more on the web.
How many people remember the rows of encyclopedias you could purchase or find in a library? How about dictionaries that you had to actually know alphabetical order to locate the word you needed? Technology is turning education into a joke, giving people instant access to everything they need without putting in any work.
