We don’t know if this is a thing this person uses or something they wish they could still use. One person pointed out that a reliable old technology was mechanical car buttons. We see their point; in modern cars, all the controls are accessed using a touch screen or Bluetooth, which isn’t necessarily a good thing.
Sometimes, actual physical buttons that you can touch and adjust are the most reliable.
