#25: Antique Lamps
Now, this one is VERY old technology, but this person still uses oil lamps. They have a collection of antique oil lamps which they keep in every room of the house. Most of the time, they just serve as pretty antiques for decor, but they come in handy from time to time during power outages.
It sounds weird at first, but when you think about it, it’s not a bad idea to have an oil lamp and a box of matches in your house. They are unique and pretty to look at, and they can definitely come in handy during a power outage! In case of an emergency, it’s always good to have a plan B that doesn’t rely on electricity.
