#4: Real Calculators
Did your teachers ever tell you that math was important because you won’t always have a calculator in your back pocket? They are all eating their words now, huh? Math in the real world no longer requires effort because smart devices do all the work for you.
Maybe we should go back to the old version of calculators, with buttons and a small screen. This might help motivate kids to use their heads and think for themselves so they can solve problems in the future if the internet were to ever go out.
