#19: I Feel Cheated of $10
Okay, I genuinely want to know if anybody is proofreading these countless advertisements where what’s written in the big print at the top doesn’t quite fit what’s written in the fine print at the bottom. How is it possible that so many editors are missing such glaring mistakes?

Is it possible that there’s some secret marketing rule that I am unaware of that dictates that having visible mistakes like this is actually a good way to attract customers? I can’t understand why that would be the case, but it seems to be just about the only possible explanation for the ubiquity of these errors.
