45 Times the Fine Print on Different Items Was So Misleading

I don’t think this is the conventional way to get people to work for you, but if this strategy is working, I can’t fault them. I don’t know about you guys, but it makes me kind of sad that a business can advertise something like it and probably still attract applicants if desperate enough people come past the sign.

I know that these are the kind of wages that can be expected in any similar establishment – that’s not my problem with this sign. Advertising that the salary is “up to” in fine print just really doesn’t seem like a way to bring people in. “Starting at” seems like a much better way to make the figure attractive.
