#38: So Is It Flushable or Not?
Corporations love to create products that are harmful to the environment, market them to us and get us hooked, and then blame us for the harmful environmental impact. Way to make a scapegoat out of us! This is a classic example: Take these wipes that you can flush down the toilet (but if you read the fine print, they’re bad for the fish).

The subtext here is, “Please buy this product that we’ve made for this specific use, but if you employ them for that specific use, you’ve harmed the environment, and it’s your fault, not ours, because we warned you on the packet, and you decided to proceed anyway.” Sure, we’re the bad guys here.
