Excuse me for not having a more emotional or explicit reaction to the pictured sign, but I’m too busy trying to figure out what is happening. I may have lost my ability to navigate the English language, but I was pretty sure that “& up” and “or less” meant opposite things.

So which one is it? Is 99c the cheapest price you’ll find here or the most expensive? We may never know. Maybe the store owner was just confused and couldn’t decide. Or maybe it’s one of those viral images that look like two things at once, like that blue/black dress. Whichever way you understand it, that’s the deal you’ll get.
