Talk to Me
Getting your kid to speak to you about their problems is nearly difficult when they’re teenagers. That’s why you should try to teach them the importance of talking about their feelings at an early age. If your kid punishes their sibling or does something naughty, ask them why they had to lash out that like.
This person also taught us an important lesson about giving yourself, the parent, a time-out. If you’re going to explode at your kid for doing something, take a few minutes to calm down. Screaming and shouting at your child won’t do them any favors in the future.
