Hugging Your Kids 101
Did you know that the emotional bond between parent and child can take several weeks or months to form? That’s right; some parents live in the same household as their children—feeding and raising them—without even being emotionally attached to them. That’s completely normal, and over time, you’ll hopefully develop a true love for your little human.
However, not knowing how to hug your child seems a bit nuts. You hug your child like you hug another person, albeit a lot more gently. Make sure you give your newborn lots of hugs and kisses. The physical contact between parent and child will help them grow into more sympathetic people.
