You’re Mine Until You’re 18
Parents, you don’t own your children. They’re under your care until they become functional, independent adults (maybe at around 18, hopefully), and then they’re off to do their thing. As kids, you have control over what they do, what they eat, and who they play with, but you don’t own them.
If you think you do, we’re sorry to say that you might be going about parenting the wrong way. Your children are already individuals by the time they pop out of the mother’s womb, and treating them like a piece of property will only result in lifelong damage to your poor child. Ease up a bit and let them live their lives!
