The Never-Ending Whys
Your patience will wear thin when your child learns how to speak and constantly asks what things are and why they’re the way they are. It’s annoying, we know, but we should all do our best to answer as many why questions as we possibly can.
This guy shared a story about how their peers never ask questions because their parents shut them down for asking questions as kids. We’re not sure whether this is true or whether they’re shifting the blame, but it sort of makes sense. Don’t question anything, and the authoritative figure won’t yell at you, right?
