#14: Must Have a Doctor’s Note
It can be hard to remember that in a workplace, everyone is a person, not just a service for you to exploit. But sometimes managers can forget that their employees are people too, with very real and normal needs. Not all employees can be dealt with in the same way; one person’s needs might differ from those of a different employee.

Isn’t water supposed to be free? Surely, management should give any employee water even without a doctor’s note. It seems like a crazy system to give your employees water only under specific conditions. What if one of the employees has a medical condition, and the doctor’s note suggests they drink Cool Aid? What then?
