#20: “Hi” Is Not the Same as “Hello”
When working at a big chain company, you must be aware of certain things. Like many franchises, feeling part of the team and ensuring your customers are happy are two main components of the job. In addition, there is a lot of pride associated with different franchises and how they represent themselves to the public.

Not only do future employees have to sit a computerized test about company conventions, but they also have to be very specific in how they say hello to customers. Surely, this question should be somewhat more general. Greeting and welcoming are very similar, so how about asking your employees to really take an interest in their customers?
