#8: Cookie Monster
Whenever you are treated to something fun in the workplace, it can feel as though management is looking after its employees. There is nothing more important for a workplace than having employees who feel as though they are appreciated. But when the gesture comes with a list of what not to do—and a warning—you might not feel comfortable enjoying this so-called treat.

These employees have been given specific instructions, in red marker, outlining which cookies they can eat. What if someone wants a smaller cookie, and they only exist at the bottom of the pile? Do they have to waste half the cookie? Whatever management wants, management gets. How did someone manage to take the fun out of eating cookies?
