Questionable Street Names Across the Country

Up next we have quite a familiar-sounding name. This next street sign gives us hope that somewhere in the world, somewhere far far away, there truly is a place where all our dreams and wishes can come true. All we have to do now is find it. We never dreamed that place might be found in Connecticut, of all places.

We all know the Muffin Man lives on Drury Lane. In fact, the Gingerbread Man almost lost his gumdrop buttons to Lord Farquaad just for knowing such truths. What you may not know is that Drury Lane is actually a real street in West Hartford, Connecticut. We can only hope the residents there didn’t experience Lord Farquaad’s tyranny.
