This group of charming young women goes by the collective title of the Drexel Institute Girls’ Rifle team, hailing from Philadelphia seemingly in the 1930s. Women with guns have a habit of looking pretty boss and the long skirts, fur coats and firm scowls definitely add to that air of cool menace.

Considering this photo was taken not too long after women got the vote in the United States I can imagine that there were some men in Philadelphia left shaking in their boots. First equal representation rights and now running around with rifles. What will they want next? I imagine these women had very obedient husbands.
