#42: Chicago Stadium R.I.P
This photo sees fans waiting for a hockey game at the newly constructed Chicago Stadium in the 1930s. The Chicago Stadium was demolished about twenty years ago, really throwing this photo into even greater historical distinction. Not only is this stadium no longer new, it’s not longer in existence at all.

Yet one thing hasn’t changed. We still love our sports and we still fill up stadiums for the opportunity to see our favorite sports players do what they do best. Some things shift over the course of time, or change with historical perspective, but some things will always stay the same.
