Over Promise, Under Deliver
This person’s advice is solid: no job will have literally everything you want. It’s very rare to find a job that meets 100% of your expectations and dreams. So, if a job is promising all that and more, we promise you that they are lying. If an interviewer responds, “Yes, we could do that!” to everything you ask, it means they’re desperate.
Once you accept a job at a place like this, it’s guaranteed that they won’t do anything they promised during the interview process. Enormous raises? Nope. Unlimited vacation time with no questions asked? Definitely not. If the promises of a potential job seem too good to be true, they probably are, and you shouldn’t take the bait.
