#28: For the Kids
There are many reasons why people stay in bad relationships. And whilst it might not be the smartest decision for many people to make, they often make it out of love and care. However, just because something might come from a good, loving place doesn’t mean that it should stay that way.
Whenever people say that they are staying together for the kids, it seems like a terrible mistake. The more you connect yourself to someone else out of duty to another person, the more you will begin to not only resent them but resent the reason you decided to do this in the first place.
