#8: I’m Right, They’re Wrong
When it comes to going to therapy, both parties involved need to be open to discussion, change, and understanding of where their partner is coming from. If neither person involved is actually prepared to do any of these things, then there isn’t much point in actually going to see a therapist in the first place.

It might seem odd and counterproductive, but people go to couples therapy all the time with their minds already made up. But something these people don’t realize is that therapists are trained to dig deep and try and understand what is going on inside. So no matter how hard one party might try to convince them of something, they have the tools to see right through it.
