Everyone needs a sidekick, that’s true, but I’m not sure I’d put it this way or describe my partner as my “sidekick”. A sidekick implies that you’re the star of the show and the people around you, your friends, family, and partner, are your sidekicks. While that may be true for some people, I have a few stars in my life.
