When you have achieved success in your own life, it can be challenging to live in the shadow of the accomplishments of your significant other. She is the wife of Pierre Omidyar, the inventor of eBay, who was born in France and has Armenian ancestry. Pamela Kerr was born in the United Kingdom and raised in the United States. Kerr met her husband, Omidyar, shortly after relocating to the United States. Omidyar is originally from Kazakhstan.

Taking advantage of their huge riches, Kerr and Omidyar have made several donations totaling millions of dollars to charitable organisations and non-profits around the world. The couple and their three children have relocated to Henderson, Nevada, where they currently reside.
