#11: Keep Calm and Scuba On
Wow, this thread has so many tiger shark stories! This guy encountered a tiger shark when his group of friends was diving at a shipwreck. It was the early hours of the evening, so it was dark, and there was a vast expanse of open water next to the ship. As the group exited the ship, they saw a huge tiger shark swimming through the open expanse of water!
Being experienced divers, they knew what to do and slowly started swimming back to the surface. The shark didn’t follow or track them, but it was still an extremely nerve-wracking experience. This guy shared that tiger sharks can be aggressive, and the best way to avoid any wild animal in the ocean is to remain calm and slowly swim away. If you panic and start thrashing around in the water, it will only attract more attention.
