Three are many simple ways to protect our environment these days. From getting energy-efficient appliances to buying products from brands that are more eco-friendly, and everything in between. That’s why we wanted to feature some of our simple tips to help you learn new ways to easily protect the environment.

Reuse Your School Notes
Don’t throw away your notes from school classes! Instead, take the notes you wrote and see if the teachers can use them for other students. Many places will reuse the notes you took from a course for veterans or other people who want to learn the course but can’t afford to pay to take it.
Find out what local community organization can utilize your notes and save them so they stay out of the landfills. Instead, the notes will be used to educate others.
Shut Off the Water
Start shutting off the water whenever you brush your teeth or use something. There is no reason to have the water on for the duration of teeth brushing or other activities. You can use the dishwasher on a lower setting, and shut the water off while you’re handwashing dishes to save on water, too!
Cutting down how much water you use, will significantly improve the energy you save with water and of course, it will reduce how much water you use in the home. This is perfect for drought seasons, as well.

Use the Carpool
Try to use the carpool anytime you’re traveling somewhere or walk to work. Find new ways to get to destinations without using a vehicle. This will cut down your carbon footprint and allow you to do a small part to protect our environment.
If you work close enough to home then consider riding your bicycle to and from work. If you can walk to work, then do that! If there is a chance that you can reduce the number of miles or hours you drive the vehicle, then by all means do it.
Buy Less Plastic
Last, but not least, please do remember that there are other simple ways to protect our environment while shopping. For example, you can buy less plastic. You can use reusable tote bags that are made out of fabric, and you can purchase goods in packaging that’s made out of recycled goods.
There are many ways to be more aware of what you’re buying at the grocery store, but our simplest tip was to buy less plastic and more recyclable packaged options.
We hope that you enjoyed reading this list of simple ways to protect our environment and will find new ways to help the world be more environmentally friendly, too!
