Susan Boyle
Susan Boyle, most people would agree, is a real Cinderella tale. The Scottish vocalist came to popularity after performing an outstanding version of “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Misérables on the third season of “Britain’s Got Talent.” Her performance propelled her to stardom, and her first studio album “I Dreamed a Dream,” released in 2009, became the best-selling debut album of all time in the United Kingdom.
She has never married and has spent her whole life caring for her elderly mother, who passed away in 2007. In 2012, when asked whether she would be willing to attempt online dating, Boyle responded she was too afraid.
