Small Things That Are Oddly Irritating

This happens with the cereal box, with boxes of pasta, with gum packages, pretty much anything. And yet, no one has found a solution to this mildly infuriating nuisance. It’s as if people have just accepted it as their fate, companies around the world have given up, they don’t care about their customers’ comfort, and we’re all supposed to accept it and move on.

It’s about time someone said it: This is annoying! If it happened only to us, we’d say we were the problem. But this has happened to everyone at least once before, so we’re pretty sure the problem isn’t us, but the manufacturing of these boxes. We can’t help but wonder if there would ever be a time when this won’t bother us anymore.
