Small Things That Are Oddly Irritating

January 5, 2010 by Regina Clarke

Agree or disagree?

We all know the importance of hand hygiene, and when we eat at a restaurant, we want to be able to wash our hands in comfort. That’s why there’s almost nothing as aggravating as a faucet that’s too close to the sink. I mean, come on! Who in the world designed these sinks? They’re not there as a decoration, they’re supposed to be used by actual people with normal hands.

The worst part is that this isn’t some kind of an anomaly, but it’s a common problem in restaurants and public restrooms. This goes to show that people don’t learn from past mistakes, they don’t learn from others’ mistakes, and they simple don’t try to change the world for the better. Okay, it’s possible we’ve gone too far, but this is just an issue that’s close to our hearts.
