Small Things That Are Oddly Irritating

This isn’t something that happens every day, and it doesn’t happen to everyone. If you ask us, something like this can happen only to people with particularly bad luck. It’s true that some people like the end pieces of a bread, and in which case they’d probably be happy to receive this loaf of bread. But most people – us included – prefer the middle part, you know, the soft part.

Whether you’re the person who likes the end pieces or you’re a normal person, one can’t help but wonder how this happened. Is there another loaf of bread that’s missing one end piece and has an extra soft slice? Where did this extra end piece come from, and why are they all sitting there together?
