Small Things That Are Oddly Irritating

There are certain unspoken universal conventions everyone knows and accepts. One of them is that green means “on”, “go,” “right,” and red means “off”, “stop” and “wrong” – green is positive, and red is negative. That’s just the way things are. I don’t know who invented this unspoken rule, but it’s a rule we all accept and live by.

However, it seems like the manufacturer of this remote control didn’t get this memo. Do they not live on this planet? Pick up the nearest object near you – even your smartphone – and you’ll see our point. The “answer” button is green and the “decline” button is red. This remote control chancing the order makes it so unintuitive, it’s annoying.
