#31: Pesky Curved Corners
If you’re dealing with a pesky curved rug corner that just won’t lay flat, a straightforward solution involves using a cup and some ice cubes. Place a cup upside down on the corner of the rug, ensuring it covers the curled area. Then, arrange ice cubes around the cup, creating a cooling zone. As the ice cubes melt, they release water, which will saturate the rug fibers and make them more pliable.
Leave the setup for some time, allowing the rug to absorb the moisture and relax. Once the rug has been straightened out, carefully remove the cup and any remaining ice cubes. Your rug should now have a much-improved corner that lies flat and looks more polished in your living space.
