When you see a person with discolored skin patches, you can quickly tell that they have vitiligo. Vitiligo is when the skin loses its pigment cells (melanocytes). This usually results in discolored patches in different areas of the body, including the skin, hair, and mucous membranes. One of the most recognizable personalities with vitiligo is the Canadian model, Winnie Harlow.
People with these conditions must not be bullied. Instead, they must be celebrated and empowered. However, in some cases, people with vitiligo find comfort and empowerment by making fun of themselves. Just look at this dude who traced his spots with a black marker.
