One way Starbucks markets their drinks is by intentionally having their baristas write the names of their customers incorrectly. That way, people feel inclined to post an image of their drink on social media while calling out the illiteracy of the Starbucks employee. Yeah, what better way to get free marketing than to have people publicly shame your employees?
But this person wasn’t going to deal with any of that silliness. If people had weird names, they wouldn’t go through the trouble of calling it out. Instead, they’d just call out their drink order. Ain’t nobody got time for your shenanigans.
