Being Kind is Free
Here’s the great thing about being a decent person: it costs you absolutely nothing! Not only do you end up feeling great for not yelling at some underpaid employee, but the employee might be willing to discount your order to reciprocate your kindness. Being a nice person has its benefits, too.
In this person’s case, if you ask for modifications with your order, they might end up charging you for only one change instead of everything. Why? Because you treated them like a human. This is a lesson that all Karens really need to learn, but they won’t. Some people never change.
