Again and again, you’ve read stories about how Starbucks employees deal with rude customers. Thankfully, nobody spoke about spitting in a customer’s drink (though we wouldn’t rule it out entirely), but they’ll find other ways of getting petty revenge for your rudeness and sometimes ignorance.
If you’re going to argue with a Starbucks barista about the difference between skim milk and non-fat milk, which aren’t different at all, they’re not going to ring your order up exactly how you want it. Oh, you wanted a regular coffee? You’re getting decaf instead. Good luck staying awake at night to finish your report without an ounce of caffeine in your system.
