Tina Fey
American actress, comedian, and writer Tina Fey was introduced to the world of comedy early on, as she recalls watching Saturday Night Live, Monty Python, or old Marx Brothers movies with her parents. Fey moved to Chicago to join the stand-up comedy world, and joined The Second City, a Chicago-based improvisational comedy troupe.
Among her career milestones, Fey worked as a sketch writer on Saturday Night Live from 1997-2006 and in 2000 she began performing in SNL sketches. In 2006, after leaving SNL, she created the sitcom 30 Rock, which aired on NBC. Fey both wrote and starred in the show. In 2015, she co-created the popular sitcom Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which still runs today on Netflix.
