Nia Long
American actress Nia Long is most widely known for her nineties career, including her recurring appearance on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, as Will Smith’s longtime girlfriend. Originally, Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, was meant to take the part, but Long was eventually chosen. She’s also known for her role in the crime drama series Third Watch and a number of comedy blockbusters from the late nineties and 2000s.
Originally, Long was offered a role in Charlie’s Angels (2000) as one of the angels but eventually turned it down. They say you end up regretting the parts you didn’t take, but we’re not sure whether or not Long regrets this decision, although it had the potential to progress her career. Besides acting, Long is known for her work in the Sterling Children’s Home in Barbados as a motivational speaker.
